This is important to me because there was only one other person who knew what I was truly feeling. Yes, others sympathize but they truly didn’t understand the feelings that come with this disease. The feeling of disappointment, embarrassment, anger, and the just why can’t I statements! My friends who were pregnant or already had kids couldn’t relate or knew what to say. Or just people in general!  I felt that the small community that me and my sister shared and built needed to be expanded. We aren’t the only two impacted by this disease. We would make jokes that only people with this disease would understand. So why not expand our community? Expand to tell our stories to other women to let them know that we don’t have to be embarrassed but that we are brave! We are fighters and this isn’t our END!
